May 11, 2026 - The Highlander Battalion was recognized by the new Superintendent, Dr. Neal Weaver and Lawton Public Schools' Board of Education for the 5th consecutive Oklahoma Armed and UnArmed Drill and Color Guard Teams State Championship. Cadet Lieutenant Colonel Braden Evans addressed the board about his thoughts on JROTC and how it has benefited him.
