April 29, 2026  - MacArthur HS JROTC traveled to Oklahoma City to be recognized on the OK State House of Representatives Floor at the invitation of OK State Rep. Daniel Pae.

The Highlander Battalion Drill and Color Guard Teams were welcomed to the State Capitol building to be recognized on the Oklahoma State House Floor for winning the the 5th consecutive Drill and Color Guard Teams State Championship.
